Our Wedding

We met in a place where love was the last thing on our minds, and somehow, it found us anyway. What started as simple conversations soon became something much more. We connected over our love for family, our dreams for the future, and the values we hold close to our hearts. Without even realizing it, a friendship quietly turned into something rare and real. Neither of us was searching for love, but love had a way of finding us. In between busy days and everyday routines, we discovered a bond that felt easy, honest, and meant to be. From the beginning, I saw something special in Kenia. Her strength, her grace, and the unconditional love she gives to her daughters. The way she carries herself, I knew she was someone I could build a life with. I knew she’d be an incredible wife and an even more beautiful mother to our family. What touched me most about Merrick was his devotion to family and faith. The way he loves deeply and his unwavering support told me everything I needed to know. Together, we’ve built a love grounded in trust, laughter, and shared purpose, a love that honors where we’ve been and dreams boldly about where we’re going. We are so thankful for the journey that led us to each other.

Our first grandson, Alex, is gentle, kind, and full of heart. He’s the best big brother and always brings a smile to everyone around him. He loves soccer, Pokémon, and never misses a good football game. We’re so lucky to have him walking down the aisle with us.

Our sweet and spirited grandson, Chris — brave, strong-willed, and bursting with energy. He fills every moment with love, laughter, and the best kind of silliness. You can usually find him tossing a football, playing catch, or showing off his dance moves. We couldn’t imagine our special day without him leading the way as our ring bearer!

We are over the moon to have our sweet niece Jordan as our flower girl! At just two years old, she's full of personality, friendly, outgoing, and wonderfully confident.  She loves swimming, playing pretend doctor, and riding her toy train. Give her crayons and a favorite show, and she's in heaven. We can't wait for her to light up the aisle!
